West Siberia Basin - Russia

Onsite project manager for a 3300 well field study of a field in the West Siberia Basin using state of the art computer technology. The scope of the project included creation of a digital database, petrophysical analysis, geologic modeling, and reservoir simulation. Responsibilities were: project management, training of the Russian staff on workstation methodology and software, review of the scientific results, writing software to integrate applications, and system administration. Also developed a methodology and software to track and schedule processing of data as it passed through various parts of the interpretation process.

China Study

Regional study of Chinese geology. This study involved the construction of a series of paleogeographic maps showing the geologic evolution of China through time.
